Germany/USA 2020, performative Intervention
With Vanja Smiljanić | Contact Vanja Smiljanić | vanjasmiljanic.wordpress.com
Vanja Smiljanić develops a new chapter of her poetic study on cyclical temporalities and relationships between bodies, plants, herbalism and activism. Her performative intervention enters into dialogue with the current exhibition at Temporary Gallery.
Nico Joana Weber (*1983) lives and works in Cologne and Ludwigshafen. She studied Fine Art and History of Art at Goldsmiths College in London and at the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne. She researches along dichotomically conceived structures such as centre–periphery, architecture–nature, and interior–exterior, dissects the hybrids already immanent in these structures and reveals them.
Vanja Smiljanić (*1986) lives and works in Cologne. Smiljanić’s focus is in interdisciplinary projects in the fields of visual arts, video and performance. In practising her work, she often uses the performance lecture as a vehicle to bridge fictitious and experiential universes.
